Sylvester started training from the beautiful setting of Cedar Lodge Stables back in 2000.

With an ideal start in the horse racing industry, Sylvester learned his trade initially from his father, who also trained racehorses at their home in Ireland. From there, Sylvester spent a fruitful spell with Coolmore; initially in Ireland but also travelled the southern hemisphere whilst looking after some of the best stallions at the time.

Sylvester's time in Coolmore was followed by returning to the UK where Sylvester spent eight very successful years as assistant trainer to multiple champion trainer, Richard Hannon (Snr).

Sylvester has trained over 500 winners with numerous Listed & Group winners over the years.
